A sojourn through heavy engineering coming to an end when I failed to contain my entrepreneurial bent taking the leap and grasping opportunity in the then exploding mobile telecommunications market with a small but lucrative retail store along with B2B provisioning.
Successfully exiting telecommunications as the retail space became noisy and heavily discount focused to surf another wave of growth in financial services quickly gaining a reputation for stripping away industry minutiae under the harsh light of simplicity. A brief and chance encounter with the pharmaceuticals industry followed, being tempted away from a career sabbatical to work with an independent wholesale distributor where yet again pure but humanised logic and the ability to distil the simple out of the complex served me well.
"Being talent spotted is great for the ego" thought I when I returned to financial services with Ethical Financial quickly acquiring a portfolio of responsibility that brought my sense for infinite detail in the highest global view to bare and all the functions that really mattered. With a grasp of technologies both emerging and established I became a perfect fit and key piece in Ethical Financial's desire to evolve.
