Justine Limpus Parish

Fashion and costume educator, fashion illustrator, art director, designer of Justine Limpus Parish special occasion clothing collection, author/illustrator of text "Drawing the Fashion Body", and contributing writer for Belle Armoire Magazine.

I have been teaching for over 25 years. I created the Fashion Department at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and served as it's first department chair. Having also been Art Director for newspaper advertising at Libery House of California, I have extensive management and creative problem solving experience.

Justine Limpus Parish’s Specialties:

Fashion and costume education, fashion illustration and design. I believe in sold art foundations for fashion and costume students. My classes blend drawing from costumed models, technical skill development and an the connections between past art and costume history and contemporary style. I like to create a class environment that is like "living art/costume" history.
