I am formally educated as an instructional designer and performance improvement specialist with a Master's degree in Instructional and Performance Technology from Boise State University (2000) and a Bachelor's in Visual Communication from the University of Idaho (1996). In my career I have worked with companies in the Boise area such as Norco, Inc. and Albertsons, Inc. on organizational development programs such as computer-based and web-based training initiatives as well as traditional training programs.
My knowledge and experience in instructional design and human performance technology has been applied to subject matter ranging from medical education and industrial safety to marketing and distribution for the retail food and drug industry. In addition, I have worked with Hewlett-Packard (HP)where I contributed to performance improvement interventions, information architecture design and applied user acceptance testing & evaluation methodology to implement an enterprise content management system for the for the global HR function.
Over the last couple years I have been working with HP, once again, designing, developing and delivering training via virtual classrooms and managing a training program to support content management assets for the worldwide marketing function.
