Currently working on growing and marketing my new business venture Just Be Products LLC. Just Be Products for now is a new line of graphic tees not meant to inspire, but to JUST BE.
JUST BE will be built around an online community/blog for people to share how they Just Be. A viral marketing campaign will be used to create a buzz for Just Be. Websites like Myspace, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube will be used along with a custom Website and blog at http://www.jb-justbe.com.
Each shirt has it’s own Just Be saying—be fabulous, be crazy, be flirty, be sweet, be cool, be groovy, be punk, be spoiled, be unique, etc. The possibilities are almost endless. The saying is paired with a large illustration whose inspiration comes from vintage poster designs or styles from the 1920s to the 1980s—art deco, pop art, punk, Russian poster art, Constructivist, etc. These illustrations are silkscreened or digitally printed on a unique location on a t-shirt (e.g. right or left shoulder, wrapped around the mid-section, aligned with the bottom of the shirt).
There could also be partnership opportunities with organizations such as The Red Cross (Be a Donor), corporations (Be Muddy—Yamaha), colleges and universities (Be an Eagle—Boston College).
I'm also an expert in all aspects of visual design—corporate identity (logo, letterhead, business card), environmental design (signage), direct mail, brochures, posters, t-shirt design, web site design, flash, animated gif's.
Teach college-level visual design courses—basic design and color theory, desktop publishing, graphics and layout in print media, digital illustration and web design.
