Latterly, was one of three founder directors of a manufacturing company, selling into the US market.

I present a weekly radio show on Radio Reverb, 'Business as Usual'. The show is all about small business and is packed with clear, practical advice and information from expert guests. We cover everything from marketing, sales, finance, operations and employment.

I started the company in 2003 with the goal of making a difference to the quality and readability of business information. There are so many business books, but rarely is it easy to find what you need quickly. Our Essential Business Guide aims to change that. It is a new type of business book. 230 full-colour pages packed with information to help small businesses run and grow a business in the UK. It is useful for small businesses at all stages of development and is the only business book ever to win a Plain English Award.
