Julie Daley’s Summary

Acting as a catalyst, I help my clients to open to and actively utilize their personal creative genius in all areas of life.

My background, both personally and professionally, is one of the keys to my success as a visionary facilitator, coach, consultant and creator in my own right.

It has become evident that we are most effective, resilient and happy when we no longer separate who we are at work from who we are in all areas of our lives. It doesn't serve us or the people we work for, and with, to do so.

We are alive at a brilliant point in time. Creativity is the language of change and the foundation for both innovation and generative leadership, two of the most important things businesses must capitalize on now if they are to succeed.

Julie Daley’s Specialties:

Strong background in IT, user-centered design and idea strategist.

Visionary designer and facilitator of training courses & methodology.

Certified Leader of Creativity in Business course, Stanford GSB

Work with Families affected by 9/11 to develop creativity for dealing with change.

Instructor: Creativity and Leadership (BUS 17)
Today’s professional and personal challenges demand ever-increasing creativity to achieve major breakthroughs and change. While creativity is within everyone, it is often suppressed by hidden blocks and unconscious habits. The approach, taught at the Graduate School of Business for more than two decades, goes deeply into the ideas, introspection and behaviors that allow you to apply your creativity and be more relaxed, productive, and happy. Further, since we are all leaders at one time or another, the course will examine various concepts of leadership, including the critical role of emotional intelligence. We will explore how the tools of creativity can build greater insights into one’s own leadership ability. The tools and daily practices will help increase professional effectiveness and improve decision-making, including the successful management of innovation.
