Julian Maddock’s Summary

I work within an open, liberal, spiritual/religious framework of spiritual practice and enquiry into reality, coming from the wisdom of the Christian religious tradition. The core of my work with people is to help them clarify values and desires - the things that matter most to them - and how to put these into practice in their lives. This is as much with folk who are thinking about catching their first wave, as it is with those in the mid-life passage and people moving towards their final initiation in life. At the corporate level, this expresses itself in the spirituality of work, the process to clarity and ownership of vision, training, and group facilitation.

Personal Qualities include:
• Prayerful; committed to the life-long journey in God and the work of discernment
• Attentive, compassionate and empathic listener
• Calm and accepting presence
• Good team player; collaborate well; enabler of others’ ideas, creativity and vision
• Good facilitator of groups for learning and reflective practice: unthreatening and challenging
• Enjoy working with those on the edge of the church and from other faith traditions
