Julian Luckham’s Experience

  • Contract: Graphic Designer | Web Designer - Global Projects

WIEGO - Women in Informal Employment: Globalizing and Organizing

    (International Affairs industry)

    December 2008Present (1 year )

I've been doing work for WIEGO in the U.S. for a couple of years. They recently asked if I'd be interested in working on a new project they have that is being run out of their U.K. office. The project is called Inclusive Urban Planning and is working to improve the livelihoods and living conditions of the working poor, and is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

I've been doing a lot of work over the past few years for Non-Profit Organizations and I am very proud to be doing the work I'm now doing for WIEGO!

WIEGO - Women in Informal Employment: Globalizing and Organizing

To love what you do and feel that it matters – how could anything be more fun?
~ Katherine Graham (publisher of The Washington Post)

  • Photographer

    A View from Here (Self-employed)

    (Self-Employed; Photography industry)

    April 2004Present (5 years 8 months)

Although I've been a photographer longer then I've been a designer, my photography has always been more of a hobby. In 2004, while living on Salt Spring Island, in the Southern Gulf Islands, I was inspired to make photography a bigger part of what I do. Thus "A View from Here" was born. Check out the "A View from Here" Web site to view my photography and the photography of those who have chosen to share their views with me.
