I've led digital and interactive projects for clients like Paramount Pictures, SeaWorld/Busch Gardens, Sears/Kmart, Toyota, Barclays, Spotify, Parents.com and Mozilla.
May 2006 – Present (8 years 5 months)
Modernois is a personal project I started years ago with my friend Andrés Gualdrón. It is essentially a music blog that with the years has evolved in a lot of different ways. Now it has become a platform where a larger group or friends share music recommendations with users, which makes it a great site for music discovery.
Sr. Web Designer
Privately Held; 51-200 employees; Internet industry
July 2010 – January 2011 (7 months)
I spent a few months working on the visuals for LAX.com's e-commerce site and created visual proposals for clients like AdKeeper and Mozilla. I also led a really fun internal project called "Año Viejo" which gained a lot of traction in the local market and the US. A few months later I was promoted to Creative Lead.
Privately Held; 11-50 employees; Computer Software industry
September 2009 – June 2010 (10 months)
I was in charge of all the creative definition and production of this start-up. Most of the time I was focused on website design, but also had the chance to get started in the ideation and design of Facebook applications and games for big clients like Gobierno en Linea (GEL) and presidential candidate Germán Vargas Lleras.
Web Design Director
Privately Held; 51-200 employees; Information Technology and Services industry
October 2005 – September 2009 (4 years)
I formed and directed a team of Designers, Information Architects and Content Editors. As the head of this area, I was at the same time Creative Director and Lead IA. I was also in charge of presenting work and being in contact with clients like Alkosto, K-Tronix, Caracol TV, Proexport and Corredores Asociados, as well as some others in the government sector.
April 2002 – July 2002 (4 months)
Umbro is an important sportswear supplier from the UK. I was part of the team in charge of the design and development of the Umbro Store for LATAM. The team was able to make good progress in definition and design, but after a few months of work, the project was cancelled for commercial reasons.
Junior Web Designer
June 2000 – June 2002 (2 years 1 month)
Todosport was a digital agency specialized in the sport industry. I participated in the design and development of websites for professional football (soccer) teams like America de Cali, Nacional, Millonarios, DIM and Santa Fe, as well as Federación Colombiana de Tenis, Fedeautos and the goalkeeper Oscar Córdoba.
Founder / Designer and Developer
November 1997 – July 2000 (2 years 9 months)
Having just graduated from high-school I acquired an interest in the recently discovered worldwide web. Hoping to learn about HTML and PERL, I started this fansite for a football team. In the process I learned a lot and the site grew significantly in functionality and popularity. Thanks to this effort, I was able to catch the attention of an agency and that's how I landed my first job.

Paramount Pictures International tapped Zemoga to help them promote the international release of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. To create brand awareness and encourage participation we created an online hub that invites (via a "Breaking News" alert from Ron Burgundy himself) fans to submit an audition video to join Ron's news crew or to engage with a Meme Generator. Each week, the best audition videos are hand selected and then featured in a highlight reel for the entire world to enjoy.
Team Members: Juan Diego Velasco, Andres Garcia, Hector Ardila, Mauricio Cubillos, Victor Duarte, Luis Andrés Jiménez Caballero, Maria Teresa Rueda, Mauricio Beltran
- July 2012 to October 2012
The five-year long relationship with Sears/Kmart led to Zemoga's most recent project, the Kmart Kreator, a Halloween gaming app mixed (with a guided sales tool) that encouraged customers to customize and share their own Kmart costumes for the holiday and see product recommendations according to their preferences.
- June 2012 to Present
We created a teaser site for the completely redesigned Toyota Avalon. Our fully responsive site was designed to reveal —week by week— small bits of information about the new model. Avalon's redesign was nine years in the making, so our market conditioning campaign had to be equally special. Set to deliver 50,000 hand raisers in six month, we hit that goal in six weeks.
