Currently I am responsible for user experience within the Special Projects Group as we build a new co-op system at UW. I lead a team of co-op students and a recent grad working on AJAX, usability, user advocacy, and accessibility. For fun I instigate local BarCamp's and brought the first StartupCamp to Waterloo.

While in the position of manager of web communications at UW I went through two re-developments of the universities public web space and learned a lot in the process. Using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Perl, etc. Part of my job was also to foster a community.
