Jean-Pierre Lorré (Mr) is R&D director of EBM WebSourcing the SOA open-source editor.
Main activity deals with reseach for next generation SOA and Web 3.0 tools. This includes research projects proposal as well as team management. EBM research is involved in 3 IST/FP7 European projects and 4 ANR French prjects (see below).
Prior to this job I was in charge of the technical management of Valtech Toulouse. As such I helped clients to define strategic software architecture based on new technologies. As project manager I took in charge the management of many projects based on new technologies and ensured the technical management of the REGNET IST/FP5 project during two years.
Prior to this activity I worked as consultant for CRIL Technology and before was researcher at the CEA (French nuclear agency). I worked mainly on neural networks applied to image processing and model based diagnosis applied to nuclear plant supervision.
My main domains of interest are Web 2.0 collaborative services, SOA, ESB, open-source solutions, distributed technologies and semantic services.
I am member of the Open-Source consortium OW2 (former ObjectWeb).
Main on-going research projects are SEMEUSE (ANR - Semantic ESB), SYNERGY (FP7/IST, http://www.synergy-ist.eu), SOA4ALL (FP7/IP, http://www.soa4all.eu) and GENESIS (FP7/IP).
