JP Holecka is an award winning creative strategist with nearly 20 years of experience in TV and film production, graphic design and interactive media. He began his career as a storyteller in 1989, developing immersive experiences at Paul Smith's Producer's Workshop for Subaru Motors and Dole Pineapple before graduating to TV and feature films as a 1st assistant director and production manager.
As a freelance 1st AD for production companies like Ridley Scott Associates, Industrial Light & Magic, BOB Industries and Go films, JP worked on over 100 commercial shoots for top brands like Nike, Bud Light, TOYOTA, and City Bank.
In 1997, he began working as a designer at the Wreglesworth Design Consultancy on brands like Italy's Scarpa Boots and Lasik Vision. In 2003, he joined TELUS as an interactive media creative director, responsible for a wide range of award winning emarketing and Web design projects. At TELUS, JP oversaw the design of numerous TELUS Web properties, the TELUS Annual Online Report, over 20 successful emarketing campaigns, and TELUS TV, the company's entry into the cableco market.
Inspired by the customer relationship building potential of the Web, JP spent the better part of 2007-08 at the award winning Vancouver-based interactive design and marketing agency Engine Digital as Director of Strategic Services. While contracting at Engine, JP provided creative strategy for both TELUS Wireline Services and Alberta Treasury Branches you JP also produced a number of branded content segments for Playground' [Intrawest] Westin Napa, Engine Digital's Engine Oil Wine and TELUS Investor Relation's 2007 Annual Report.
JP's focus is now on creative and strategic consulting for both advertising agencies and clients where he applies his multifaceted media experience and creative vision to achieving superlative results for Powershifter's roster of clients.

No I am off for a two month sabbatical with my family in Spain to sort out the next chapter.
