Ambitious program to convert the complete 300.000plus mortgage portfolio with a value of over € 35 Billion to a new system and a matching Business Process design. This new design is based on a new vision: mortgages should be managed following a Supply Chain approach to better service the Customer in an ever more competitive and sometimes even dangerous market.
The Program OSIRIS involved 12 integrated projects across 3 large separate corporate entities. In January 2009 the last 100.000 mortgages have been successfully converted and the last required Business Process enhancements put into operation.
The Business organization at ABN has been using the new systems and processes ever since and without any major problems. The old system can now be decommissioned, yielding a significant reduction in costs.
