I'm a contractor interested in helping churches, businesses and individuals take the potential of the Internet by the horns, tame it, and make it come alive to complete their goals.

At Washington Bible College, I progressed from being a student assistant to team-leading the department. It was here that I learned about the business end of IT, how technology in a corporate environment is run on very different priorities and is subject to the changes of the organization. I learned the importance of flexible and standards-based solutions. I also learned a lot about how to market good tech solutions to leadership and users.

LinuxBiometrics.com was developed when I recognize a whole in the open source community. The intention was to build an open source community around the area of biometrics that would result in further passion and development. Ultimately, I hoped to see drivers developed both within and outside the organizations selling biometric devices. For the time I, and others in the community put into it, we saw success in both of these areas, including the provision of devices from companies to develop and test the Linux support. Eventually, my interests turned elsewhere and this project was transferred to the hands of other interested parties.

I was responsible for the running of the grill area, keeping the meals hot, fresh and fast. I was responsible for managing people as well as production. I learned a lot about the working world as a result. God used this time to show me how important leadership is. Having both good and bad managers provided a striking contrast. I learned I wanted to be a good leader and that supporting those who led be was beneficial to everyone.

I owe much Biblical knowledge and practical understanding to the professors and fellow students of Washington Bible College and Capital Bible Seminary. While I did not take classes from CBS, I enjoyed the opportunities I had to speak with the professors through my employment at WBC.
