July 2004 — July 2008 (4 years 1 month)
Head of business development for eBay's Shopping.com. Oversaw content syndication, technology licensing and the distribution of the Shopping.com advertisements. Responsible for Revenue & Profit (P&L) goals that grew from $X million to $XX million (approx. 75% CAGR from mid '04 to mid '07).
Primary responsibility and vast majority of the revenue came from building & maintaining partnerships with hundreds of 3rd party online publishers. These publishers used the Shopping.com network of advertisements to enhance their respective user experience and to drive incremental revenue. The growth and success of this group for Shopping.com resulted in the creation of a new business unit, distributed commerce. I originally reported into the Shopping.com President but following the business unit creation, I ran the publisher arm (acquisition & management) reporting to a newly created general manager position.
