My goal is to take the skills that I've accumulated over the past several years and apply them to the Cleantech/Greentech industry.
I was an Assistant Vice President and Account Officer for Pacific National Bank’s (PAC) Denver loan production office. During my tenure at PAC, I originated $150 million in commercial real estate loans.
Before joining Pacific National Bank, I was an Associate within the KeyBank’s Real Estate Private Equity Group. I was responsible for underwriting and closing $28 million in mezzanine and equity transactions.
I started my professional career as a Fed Funds Trader in 1998 in KeyCorp’s Corporate Treasury Group and ascended to the role of Senior Portfolio manager and key member of the bank’s Asset Management and Liability committee by 2003.
During my tenure in the Corporate Treasury Group, I co-managed a diversified $16 billion debt portfolio which consisted of short and long term securities in various currencies.
I moved from co-managing the debt portfolio to co-managing the $30 billion balance sheet derivatives portfolio. In this role, I was responsible for developing and executing strategies in the capital markets to optimize the risk management of KeyCorp’s balance sheet. In addition to balance sheet risk management, I also formulated and executed trades on behalf of individual business lines within KeyCorp, the most visible being the hedging of KeyCorp’s $600 million CMBS pipeline.
I hold a Master of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management. I also graduated Cum Laude from Myers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance.
I am a member of CORE, Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), an active member of the Young Leaders Group (YLG) of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). I also participate in several environmental groups including the Sierra Club, the Nature Conservancy and the Colorado Mountain Club.
