Web Designer/Developer at Intuit
Greater Boston Area
I’m a Web Designer/Developer for Intuit, a leading provider of financial software and SaaS applications for consumers, small businesses and accounting professionals. Specifically, I manage the operations, strategy, web design/development, and marketing for the Intuit QuickBase website. QuickBase is the number one online-database for building web-based software with over 250K active users, including 50+ of the Fortune 500.
I joined Intuit after leaving The Endurance International Group, one of the largest web hosting acquisition companies in the U.S. My role at EIG was Brand Manager and Community Evangelist for PowWeb, Inc., a web hosting start-up that had been acquired and relocated (along with myself) to Boston.
Prior to EIG, I began my career at PowWeb in Los Angeles, CA. I’m proud to say that my propensity to advocate for the customer comes from having been a technical support person at PowWeb. At PowWeb, I worked in several positions starting from an hourly tech support person to Biz. Dev. Asst. to Biz. Dev. and Marketing Manager.
Innovation and entrepreneurship are a vital part of my life and career. I devote most of my unstructured and free time to learning new web technologies and prototyping new ideas. I’ve won four Intuit IdeaJam unstructured time competitions, am an IEEE member, Ham Radio Technician (KB1QQZ), member Boston Amateur Radio Club, and part-time computer science undergrad student at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
