Loose Connection started the first commercial free WiFi hotspots, experimented by creating the first WiFi beach in the world in Brighton, UK, and got people out of their offices and into the real world by putting people never more than 10 minutes away from free WiFi access in cafes, bars and public spaces.
Loose Connection has become Metranet Communications and specialises in WiMax and building wireless metropolitan networks.
