After finishing a Ph.D. on Shakespeare and publishing a book the same year on Radiohead, I made the full-time transition from university-level teaching of literature (ancient to postmodern) and composition (expository, research and business writing) to web application design and development. Since 2007, I've worked for the University of Washington's Network Management Tools Team.
