NeighborsforNeighbors.org is a collection of neighborhood-centric community generated social networks for Boston Neighborhoods that serve as a soundboard for voices and a springboard for action.
Neighbors connect to each other and resources and discover and organize around common interests.
Major Accomplishments:
➢ In partnership with the City of Boston, our Neighborhood Social Networking model is being rolled out to every neighborhood in the city of Boston this year.
➢ Inspired and piloted the creation of 87 neighbor-organized projects, and over 80 non-profits/community organizations connected over 5000 residents and generated thousands of hours of community engagement. Organization and technology models have been adopted and replicated across the city.
➢ Produced the Nametag Project, and Nametag Day at Fenway Park, resulting in 19,000 people wearing a nametag for a day in 2007. Received international media coverage on Fox, CBS, Hallmark Channel and Yahoo News.

Responsible for day to day online operations of ServiceNation campaign - a non-partisan campaign to expand voluntary citizen service opportunities, solve problems through service and make service a core ideal in our democracy resulting in the passage of the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act (H.R. 1388).
Major Accomplishments:
➢ In less than two weeks’ time, pushed forward and managed web vendor and staff to rebuild and launch a new interactive web site, www.servicenation.org, just in time for the ServiceNation Presidential Candidates’ Forum at Columbia University featuring then Presidential Candidates’ McCain and Obama.
➢ Advocated internally, and with key partners such as Presidential Inaugural Committee, Corporation for National Service, Facebook, Craigslist, Renkoo and MTV, to coordinate online MLK Day initiatives and promote ServiceNation,org URL in key broadcasts during the inauguration. Results were a 500% increase in website sign ups up from October 2008 to February 2009.
➢ Supervised the development of “Pledge to serve” mini-site, viral Facebook application and viral widget resulting in a 300% increase in Declaration of Service Pledges from October 2008 to February 2009. Tripled Facebook fan page base.
