I've been in many diverse positions, and would like to use that experience to produce projects with the hope that they will help people to appreciate and enjoy their lives more or perhaps make them think a little bit more about the world we are a part of.
I feel that my eclectic background in art, video/animation production, design, administration, education, promotions, planning and management have equipped me to become a unique and well rounded producer with many advantages, tools and connections at my disposal.

Using State Grant from Office of Child & Family Services, we created a short allegory about over development in the Soundview Neighborhood of the Bronx featuring Squirrels and Beavers as protagonists & antagonists.
Local middle and high school students, summer youth employment participants and volunteers worked to write and design the story.
I taught a team of 25 how to time, create layouts, keys, and animate. I also had to manage the entire project from pre production through animation and post.

1) I teach a course in "Visual Media" for Middle & High School Students with an emphasis on social responsibility and ethical development. There are 3 courses I run (A) Animation, (B) Media for Print and Web, and (C) Portfolio Development (Drawing, Self-Branding)
I also function as a professional mentor for the students who participate, often helping them develop self confidence to apply for design related jobs or colleges.
2) Outside of the courses, I manage content created by the young people at www.thegreeninstitute.org, as well as designing collateral for the program itself.
