I am an innovative and creative web developer with a broad range of technical abilities.
I have over 8 years commercial experience working as a web developer, for a number of companies, and a varied selection of projects. I specialise in building websites that are accessible and follow the W3C guidelines. Web standards and Accessibility is something I believe in.
My strengths are my ability to embrace new concepts and adapt to new situations with ease, this industry moves fast. I enjoy a challenge and remain focused when working to strict deadlines.
I have worked on various projects in many areas from education, sport, fashion, entertainment, art, broadcasting, law, property and telecommunications. I have a passion for web standards and accessible web practices, CSS and clean coded websites, I produce high quality cross-browser websites which meets W3C standards and adhere to the W3C Accessibility guidelines.
I have experience in information architecture, usability and creating detailed wire-frame specifications for client work which help towards creating high quality, thought through websites.
I have experience in SEO campaigns and have been very successful in raising the awareness of client websites within search engines. A well planned website with web standards and accessibility in mind compliments an SEO campaign, this is something I am always aware of from the beginning and must be factored in to any project.
I have experience building websites using the ever popular Wordpress CMS. I understand the system and its quirks, also the benefits it has to offer.
I use the SVN version control system daily, I am competent with it. I also have experience with Trac web-based project management system and can adapt to any new working processes easily.
