I graduated December of 2008 with a degree in Photography. I've had numerous professional photographic experiences while still in school and I'm very thankful for those experiences.
I also love more than anything being a teacher's assistant in classes, I love teaching, tutoring and helping.
I'm trying to find that mysterious balance between maintaining a professional portfolio for clients and a body of personal work that is my very own.
Recently, I re-enrolled at The Art Institutes International Minnesota for a second degree. Originally in 2005 I was enrolled for what they called at the time "multimedia & web design". As a 17-year-old fresh out of high school I had a "I know everything" attitude and didn't feel like web design was the right degree for me if I already knew what I thought was "a lot" about the subject. So, at the time I decided to change majors to my other love, Photography.
The program has evolved and grown over the years into "Web Design & Interactive Media" so now I'm learning new things all over again, and loving it. I'm expecting to graduate sometime late 2011.
I love photographing people, because every photograph is a connection with that person. I'm always interested in what I can learn from each sitting.
I haven't found my "favorite" part of web design and development yet. Everything I've learned about so far I've thoroughly enjoyed.
