Art Director
Greater New York City Area
I began my career as a print designer in the late 90’s. In 2000, I jumped at the opportunity to work as a creative consultant for an Internet start-up in Silicon Alley. That experience helped fuel my interest for digital media and its potential to change the way we live our lives. Open source and social media have given everyday individuals the ability to innovate, be creative and make wiser decisions. I embrace this and support its growth as we continue to fade the lines between our online and offline worlds.
In 2006, I joined R/GA—the award winning Digital Agency in New York. During my three years there, I had the opportunity to work as an Art Director with many talented designers, copywriters and developers as well as a number of great clients including Johnson & Johnson and Nokia. For a look into some of my work, including the launch of Zyrtec.com and Verizon’s FiOS, check out my design portfolio then download my resume.
Today, I find sites like Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin essential to building my brand online. You can follow me on Twitter under the handle @Pixelbug. There, you'll often see me having conversations about advertising, interactive design, mobile trends and social media. Facebook has also evolved into a great tool to grow your presence online. I'm currently using Facebook fanpages to build a community for iLoveChocolate.com, a personal project I'm working on. iLoveChocolate.com is a destination site for foodies who love working with (and of course eating) chocolate. Become a fan at http://Facebook.com/ChocolateFans.

Joined a group of entrepreneurs and developers to create a digital advertising solution that was ahead of its time. We had many ideas on how to take on online advertising but one of the best to come out of AdClip was SkyClip—a product that would send a consumer a text message when in proximity of a brick and mortar retailer within the AdClip Network. This was my first taste for mobile technology and I've been hooked ever since.
