Professional Overview.
IT/IS Consultant: Currently I'm Director of Consulting Business Intelligence in Abast Solutions, a spanish company national scope. In more ten years I'm in this company I have developed distinct functions in several areas of Consulting like ERP, CRM,B2B, J2EE and .NET developments, etc... including tree years managing the R&D Department of this company.
Universitary Professor: I am currently an associate professor of UPC and responsible for the course "Information Systems for Organizations" at the Faculty of Computer Science of Barcelona. I have also been teaching partner in the UOC, profesor in masters and postgraduates courses in Fundación UPC, and I have also been conducted meetings as a guest in Business schools like ESADE and EAE.
Researcher and discloser: Researcher in Business Intelligence and Agile Methods, as part of my PhD thesis. Discloser I'm member of the writing team of the journal Gestión del Rendimiento, and ocasional writer in the magazine DATA.TI (formerly known as Datamation), also I give lectures in various seminars and I write in different portals internet and thematic blogs, including my own blog "Sistemas Decisionales, algo mas que Business Intelligence"
