Benchmarketing Inc. is the consulting practice of Jordan Kay.
Jordan has extensive experience in the field of Marketing. His 18 years in the marketing arena have seen him: manage a market research field operation for 5 years; build Purolator Canada’s first consumer focused direct marketing program; direct Sprint Canada’s Business Intelligence division where he oversaw the implementation of the CRM strategy (in partnership with Seibel), and lead business development for the Canada Post Business Marketing Communications Sector for 2 years prior to leaving the corporate world to pursue entrepreneurial ventures in 2004.
As co-founder and CMO of 80/20 Solutions, Jordan continued to fill his strategic marketing consulting role. His exposure to a vast array of multi-channel marketing campaigns and his experience in database marketing proving to be an asset to both the company and its clients.
In 2006, Jordan sold his equity in 80/20 Solutions to pursue his own consulting practice, Benchmarketing Inc. Jordan is an alumnus of York University and the Schulich School of Business earning B.A. and M.B.A. degrees.
2007 saw the birth of Glucose Digital. An interactive marketing experiment that has blossomed into a refreshingly unique digital media development house.
In 2008, Jordan has once again focused on building the strategic consulting portfolio of Benchmarketing Inc. Using Glucose Digital as the catalyst, a niche expertise in Social Media Marketing has been the focus of recent engagements. Future projects will focus on Open Social platforms and their impact on the evolution of Web 2.0 to Web 3.0 - and with it the emergence of Open Mobile platforms.

2007 — Present (1 year)
Originally conceived in 2007 as a support service for Benchmarketing Inc., Glucose Digital has grown to represent a large proportion of my focus in the interactive space. Projects range from online media production, to custom software development.
The common thread has always been a quest for creating truly dynamic online experiences. As media becomes ubiquitous, so to does the manner in which people engage it.
Largely driven by the emergence of social networks, the increasing role of Mobile is just starting to sink in with many leading marketing organizations. Glucose intends to be at the table as strategic decisions are made with respect to the medium.
