Jon L. Gelman is admitted to practice law in the States of New Jersey, New York, Nebraska and Ohio and the District of Columbia. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, The Circuit Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. In addition he is a contributing columnist to the New Jersey Law Journal on the subject of workers’ compensation law and he is a commentator to LAWCAST.
He has been involved in asbestos litigation since 1971 and is a member of the Asbestos Litigation Group. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section and a member of the Passaic County Bar Association. Mr. Gelman was a charter executive committee member of the NJ Advisory Council on Worker Safety and Health. He is the former Vice President of the Workplace Injury Litigation Group of the American Trial Lawyers Association, and a member of the NJ Trial Lawyers Association. He is widely published and a frequent lecturer to professional organizations.
