For my PhD my focus is sepsis. Specifically acute kidney injury (AKI) during sepsis. I'm looking at the proteome of urinary microvesicles as a potential method to rapidly detect and track AKI.
In my spare time I experiment with F/OSS, social media, and other buzz-wordy topics and blog about what I discover at my site.

A one year industrial placement as part of my degree. My focus was modulation of glucocorticoid receptor mediated gene transcription by co activators in an in vitro system.
