Jonathan Konrad’s Summary

I am an engaging classroom teacher, passionate about all aspects of science, particularly Biology and Environmental Science. My experience in Education takes me beyond the classroom as well. I have been involved in many administrative areas of my profession, from serving on School Board committees to representing my district at conferences. This involvement encouraged me to begin M. Ed studies in the area of Multi-Disciplinary Leadership last spring. Being a part of the specially-selected team to write the new, exit-level Biology course in Alberta has been a highlight for me this year. In addition, I have made myself a valued member of our rural community, contributing to adult rural learning initiatives and to an important agricultural preservation group.

GOAL
To be a leader in technological innovation in the classroom, and to contribute to the educational system through collaboration in learning communities.
