My name is Jonathan Joly, I have a 2nd class honours bachelor's degree from the Arts Institute at Bournemouth in Interactive Media, specialising in 3D computer animation. (3ds Max, Maya, Motion Builder, Combustion, Match Mover) During the last year, I have had a lot of experience working with Motion Capture in the Access Mocap studios at Bournemouth University and completed various interactive pieces and short animations using this technology.

My main skills are the lighting/rendering and environment modelling, in my portfolio most of the 3d animation and modelling work are short films as this is the only way to show my skills as I don’t process the skills to program the games. In my blog there are some concept characters and concept environments.

Apart from the 3d aspect of my involvement in my animation projects, I also played key roles in the production management liaising between the technical artists and the general artists. I feel that the extent of my portfolio demonstrates my versatility as a CG artist. This can be clearly seen on my website, www.jonathanjoly.com where I have posted all of my completed projects from the last three years.
