He co-founded WunderMarx|PR™ in 2002 with his wife, Cara, and they have grown it into one of the top 15 public relations agencies in Orange County, Calif. WunderMarx|PR works with innovators to create preference for their products, services and ideas through the development and communication of their brands.

As the company’s chief innovation officer, Jonathan views the convergence of technology and social media as critical to business communications. He is an evangelist who espouses the value of social networking as a powerful personal and corporate branding tool. Under his direction, WunderMarx|PR helps clients leverage the Internet to create connections, build awareness, buzz and credibility by using Web applications and social media marketing strategies. WunderMarx|PR was one of the first agencies in Orange County to offer podcasting and blogging services to its clients. In addition, he created and launched dezumo.com in 2007. Dezumo is a social networking community for creative people, such as artists, writers, graphic designers, photographers, musicians.

Before launching the agency, he directed brand management, Web, creative and communications at two publicly traded semiconductor companies and amassed in-depth experience with corporate spin offs, IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, internal communications, branding, corporate marketing, technical writing, and Web site strategy, marketing and management. He also served as the president of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), Orange County as well as the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), Orange County chapter.

Jonathan, an advocate of corporate social responsibility and corporate philanthropy as business principles, champions the concept of “giving back” at WunderMarx|PR. Through the company’s Be Wunderful™ initiative, WunderMarx|PR offers professional services to nonprofit organizations through a grants program.
