Jonathan Crossfield’s Summary
Although I have a varied career - spanning employment consultant and trainer, radio announcer, journalist, marketing manager and nightclub DJ - the common thread is communication and engaging an audience.
Pouring these experiences and life lessons into the new world of online marketing, I have become fascinated in how the web changes everything! Social media and the changes to user behaviour have developed many reasons for business models to adapt and marketing ideas to be changed. I strive to be at the front of these changes, observing, commenting and participating in the petri dish of new media thinking.
My current role as Marketing Manager for Netregistry - one of Australia's largest domain providers and webhosts - has provided many opportunities to experiment and push ideas in new directions. From developing new customer engagement strategies on Twitter to using content marketing in blogs and email newsletters, my current experience is one of expertise balanced against constant learning and epiphany.
