For the last 4 years I have worked on and off for the Macys.com Architecture and Content Engineering (User Interface) teams, continuing the relationship I developed as a Technical Lead 3 years prior. I am curious and enthusiastic, giving 150% to everything I do. In between contracts, I travel extensively (38+ countries so far).
Web Development Experience:
A decade using HTML / JavaScript. In-depth CSS, DHTML, XHTML / XML / XSLT and JSP. UNIX Shell scripting and Regular Expressions. Basic understanding of Java, PHP, Perl, SSI, etc.
Web Architecture:
User interface / Interaction design, development process and workflow design, content management and source control. Advanced problem-solving skills and attention to detail meta programming / code generation. Search engine Optimization and performance tuning.
Graphics:
10 years design / computer graphics experience. Advanced image generation techniques and optimization. 3D illustration and rendering.
Software:
Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, DreamWeaver, Oxygen, IBM's Rad. Professional experience working with Xalan, WebSphere, Ant, ClearCase, Cygwin, CVS, Scene 7, Coremetrics and numerous open-source projects.
Expert in XSLT and browser languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript), JSP, Unix Shell Scripting and Architecture of large, complex templating / code generation systems. User interface design + development.
