I work at the intersection of positive psychology, organizations and social media (2.0) with managers, leaders, HR, psychologists and social media experts primarily in the UK. This intersection is busy, quick, personal, and exacting. We work with organizations and their members to understand these workplaces, find their footing, thrive, flourish and prosper. We offer experience and expertise in FIVE areas.
+ We train, mentor and coach employees, managers and executives to find practical, satisfying ways to get things done in today's fast, diverse and connected workplaces.
+ We work with groups to raise initiative in times of turbulence and change: what initial steps are we all comfortable in taking?
+ We work with stakeholder groups to learn how they learn about us. In particular, we work with Gen Y to bring them closer to decision-making and to develop the line of sight, business knowledge and credibility they need to join management in a few years.
+ We have a special mission to raise the credibility of HR through the clear exercise of leadership, minute-by-minute, in the smallest of HR actions. Is every member of your HR team articulate about why we use the procedures we use? We would like to be able to say "Every HR professional a leader".
+ We prototype social media technologies: blogs, wikis, etc. Web 2.0 is not a new IT technology. It is a way of leveraging the power of community and p2p communication through the internet and intranet. We model applications so you can test the potential of 2.0 without disrupting your current systems.
I look forward to sharing expertise with other people are also working in this area and with current and future clients who also believe that positive networked organizations will have a competitive edge during the next ten years.
