This was a new role for House of Fraser based within the head office marketing department and reported to the marketing director. The aim of the role was to proactively assimilate all existing sources of research information available to the business, and to then identify and commission ad hoc and continuous research to create a complete set of marketing intelligence. Further the role also involved undertaking research to assist in the development of private label brands such as Linea and to create profiles of the target customer groups for the buyers to use when sourcing their collections.
