John Stokes’s Summary
I am a start-up specialist and have founded a number of software, Internet and media companies – some more successful than others. Having gained operational experience and having had a degree of financial success I co-founded Piermont Ventures, a boutique investment and advisory business which advised exceptional entrepreneurs and invested in their startups.
With experience I have made the transition to Venture Capital and co-founded Montreal Start Up, a seed stage VC fund which enables me to continue to invest and work alongside entrepreneurs operating in the wireless, internet, and media space.
My operational strengths are as a strategist, marketer and sales professional and I am always interested in using these skills to strengthen and grow any community of which I am a part.
