As Digital Media Manager for GMGRD I worked on www.manchesteronline.co.uk and the portfolio of regional newspaper websites owned by Guardian Media Group. The new initiatives and innovative ideas I introduced helped raise the triple the monthly audience of www.manchesteronline.co.uk to in excess of 9 million page impressions. I was responsible for managing all SEO and PPC activity and formulated classified sales opportunities for the print advertising teams that generated over £1million pounds per annum in new revenue, bringing the organisation above target for revenue growth.

I founded the new media arm of the publishing business established websites for a portfolio of sixteen regional newspapers, radio stations and magazines. I worked with traditional print editorial, advertising and marketing teams to increase awareness of electronic publishing. I devised and implemented a multimedia sales strategy that enabled property and motors clients to benefit from website services.
