Minding the Gap Between Companies and their Web site users since 1997

Successful eCommerce Web sites don't design, deploy, update, promote, or manage themselves.
The majority of businesses in the US are somewhere between the Fortune 500 companies that hire a staff to do those things and the sole proprietor who tries to do those things himself. My career has been focused on helping Small to Medium sized businesses understand and execute each of those steps.
For the last two years, I have been helping traditional Real Estate Brokers and Agents adapt to the new, Web-based reality of their business. It is a fascinating thing to be a part of.
Even as start ups utilize a better understanding of Web technology and its users to throw grenades at the traditional Real Estate industry, the response from traditional Brokers and Agents has been to try and hold on to the status quo. I now have a new appreciation of the term "death grip".
Many Real Estate Brokers understand that their world has changed -- they just don't know what to do about it. Unfortunately, the Web vendors who "serve" this industry have been all too happy to exploit fear and ignorance to sell "solutions" that do little more than give Brokers the false sense of security that comes from having a Web site.
This is a challenging time for the Real Estate industry in general. As Brokers look for a way survive the perfect storm of record-high inventories, the tightest credit on record, and a technological assault on their business model, my goal is to throw them a line by combining the best of the new technology with the best of the old fashioned customer service that a good Real Estate Agent provides.
