I am currently working on my Ph.D. in the School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Georgia where I have completed my major exams in the areas of organizational theory and behavior, public administration and management, and policy analysis and process. I will complete my dissertation under Dr. Hal G. Rainey; the topic will focus on managerial perceptions of innovation value in public and nonprofit organizations.
Prior to entering academia I worked in government affairs and consulting as a policy and research analyst, lobbyist, and community development and social impact specialist.
My research and teaching interests are in public and nonprofit management, collaborative governance, organizational and management innovation, and social entrepreneurship.
Prior professional work experience also included public relations, environmental regulation, energy and environmental policy, community liaison work, and intergovernmental relations.
