Design thinking & strategy consultant
Columbus, Ohio Area
My background is understanding the consumer and their needs, and then helping to position, align and integrate (improve information flows and processes) companies and design their points of interaction to provide significant competitive advantage and differentiation. This POV has come to be known recently as design thinking, but it applies to every stakeholder impression -- whether in advertising, retail, new product development, identity and visual language, packaging and communications, public relations and Internet technology.
Design strategy, design thinking, marketing strategies and branding
I've been on the creative end as an award-winning copywriter, managed a lot of printing and media, run an award-winning newspaper, taught advertising and marketing classes at undergraduate and graduate levels, managed hundreds of marketing, communications and multidisciplinary design projects.
