I do content, its accessibility, is ease of use, how it’s presented, managed and used by the end user and also the content creator, I also do web, its evolution, its technologies it use and development through use.
It therefore makes sense that I work as an information architect in an IT / web Solutions Company, but this is only a small part of what I do, my role also takes in new business, requirements, consultation and lately Information and knowledge management.
My role means that I may be writing wireframes in Axure one day and defining a business plan for a new product offering the next. All of which will revolve around content, getting it to the user in a way that the user can access seamlessly and without interruption, building bridges not barriers
