I have successfully sold real estate since 1986. I sell residential and commercial properties and I am affiliated with RE/MAX Associates Plus as a broker associate. I have been an owner and manager of rental real estate since 1986.

I became a CFP-Certified Financial Planner in 1989 and built upon that education with my other degrees and certifications. I have been securities registered since 1993. My broker dealer is Multi-Financial Securities Corporation, which is owned by ING. Neither Multi Financial Securities Corporation nor ING have any affiliation with any of the other services I provide. I am series 7, 63, and 65 registered. In 1995 I started Venture Development. We are Minnesota based mortgage broker. We like to say "we are Minnesota's Premier Mortgage Broker". My wife Patti runs the company with me and is our Vice President.

I have the following financial designations: CFP CLU CHFC CEBS MBA MS. While this sounds like a lot of alphabet soup, it represents a lot of hours devoted to becoming better at what I do. My goal is to be the best, by becoming more educated I am able to add more value to my clients.

I soon realized that while Prudential was a fine company, they didn't have all the answers or solutions for my clients. With that thought in mind, I left to start my own financial planning firm-Financial Planning Associates. I've been and independent financial planner since that time.
