    This is a timely piece written for New Years, which ties one of the organization's songs with the melody of the classic song in order to support the message of cultivating a life-long experience.

    "While most will raise their glasses and voices while attempting to fumble through Auld Lang Syne (have you ever met a person who actually knows all the words?), Alpha Delts will find beauty in the same melody, but with different words that each brother can sing by heart: There’s Beauty in Yon Crescent Moon."

  • Professionals Night Networking/Lecture Series

    During my time as a board member of the Alpha Delta Phi Minnesota Alumni Society, I created a lecture/networking series to feature brothers of note with the goals of creating a professional culture, increasing alumni engagement and offering more outlets for other initiatives to be communicated/ opportunities to make small donation asks.

    All graphics for the event were created by Nik Vandenmeerendonk.

  • MAPE Members Public Awareness Campaign

    Team Members: John Komarek

    While at MAPE, the union had a desire to bring a face to its organization that would introduce themselves to the people of Minnesota and pad the group for upcoming legislation.

    We operated under my concept outlined by this statement: "MAPE makes Minnesota a state worth calling home. We provide vital services to Minnesotans. Not always visible, but always there working hard for you. We're a Minnesota union making a great state even better!"

    The project included the first social media efforts the organization has ever undertaken, video stories used on a host of new and traditional media and organizing efforts. It connected internal and external communications.

  • U of M CLA Scholarship Video

    Team Members: John Komarek, Tim Nelson

    For the University of Minnesota's Scholarship Dinner at McNamara, I was charged with working with the office to conceptualize and executing the video showing donors how they were helping change the lives of scholarship recipients.

  • Don't Shoot the Masseuse - Theatrical Promotion

    For a show completely independently funded by a Kickstarter campaign, I pitched stories to local news outlets, receiving multiple hits in the Lillie Suburban News family of papers, included a front page spread, and coverage in the Star Tribune's local section.

    Additionally, I provided social media direction regarding the use of it as a marketing tool to track and promote ticket sales, drum up interest via graphic work of all the cast members in character.

    And these duties were above and beyond my duties as the lead character.

    The Alpha Delta Phi – Minnesota Chapter Web site has been a collaborative project, of which, I have been in charge of since its inception in 2005.
