I am an entrepreneur in Web 2.0. My current venture is LearnHub.com.
My core strengths are in software engineering, but I count consumer marketing, product management, human resources, sales, and strategy among my competencies.
Everyone once in a while I accept offers to advise other companies. Right now I advise just SmartHippo.com.
I enjoy public speaking and presented at: Online Educa Berlin 2005, a major international e-learning conference; Mesh, Canada's Web 2.0 Conference; and at various BarCamp, DemoCamp, Ruby on Rails, and university events.
I enjoy working closely with my better half, Malgosia.

Raised Series-A from Educomp, the largest education company in India.
Previous focus was Nuvvo.com, a unique e-learning platform which challenged existing business models for online education. Nuvvo enjoyed world-wide acclaim, and has served tens of thousands of instructors and students from over a 100 countries.

CommunityLend is a peer-to-peer lending network in Canada. They sought my help from my experience building Web 2.0 software and financial systems on Wall St. I primarily advised CommunityLend on their technology and system operations strategy, but also helped with investors and hiring.

Affinity Labs was bought by Monster Worldwide for $61M after 14 months.
Employee 9, and tech lead. I was a cornerstone of the company during its remarkable success in 2007.
I hired & lead the software development team (1/5 of the company) to build several Ruby on Rails projects, including one system which serves 800,000 monthly unique users, through PoliceLink.com, FireLink.com, NursingLink.com, TheApple.com, and ArtBistro.com.
