As Communications Coordinator, I helped promote the University by working closely with local and national media. Responsibilities included the writing and releasing of press announcements, assisting with media inquiries, and acting as a liaison to reporters and photographers when they visited the University.
In addition, I was the editor of the quarterly alumni magazine and annual reports. I was responsible for managing all the content in the publications. I worked closely with freelance writers and graphic designers in the production of the magazine. I was also responsible for creating the majority of the photographs in each issue. -
