For over 20 years I have been in Marketing/Sales.
For many years I have been in Advertising/Marketing/Sales.

Presently I am General Manager of OnCity Advertising. We help clients capture the college (student) market buy using student newspapers, on campus placement (postering), transit, other OOH, and social media.
I have worked with such national accounts as: Sears, Best Buy, REI, ATT, US Cellular and many others. I have also worked with local clients (who are trying to target the college students in their area).
I am also in charge of marketing for the following transit systems:
Longwood Transit System (Boston), University of New Hampshire, University of Virginia, University of Arizona, Boston College, Oklahoma State and Penn State University.
I handle the sales, production, installation, follow-up (with the client and the customer) and marketing materials.
I work with Transit System Managers, Installer, Printers, Designers, Clients and other vendors in order to make the marketing plans work for the client.
I have sold national and local accounts advertising space on these transit systems.
My sales numbers for 2006-2007 was up 16% net from the previous year. For 2007 I was up 35% net from the previous year. I am up 257% (fourth quarter 08) based on business from last year's fourth quarter. In 2008 I was up 67% of net sales compared to 2007.
I also use social marketing tools to find new ways to reach my clients (or potential client). Twitter, Facebook, Organic SEO, Pay Per Click Ads, Blogs and more.
I feel that I can connect with the customer directly and start a relationship that will be profitable for both parties using the long tail selling methods.
By the end of the second quarter (2008) I have billed over one million dollars in contracts. This is before my third year anniversary with the company.
