MX Logic is a small and rapidly growing private enterprise. It's core product is an email defense system (EDS), which is fundamentally email filtration. Rather than selling software, however, MX Logic runs it's technology as a managed service relieving its customers of the associated administrative concerns. In addition to greatly reducing its customers risk, this model also places the load of email protection in the cloud rather than local resources.
Recently, MX Logic has been extending it's offerings into web categorization and filtration services, email archiving and message continuity products. They have also built a web service ordering interface for its partner channels. I have been involved with the build-out of these products, each of which has provided it's own interesting challenges.
