I have experience operating/managing craft breweries of all sizes and have an in-depth knowledge of both the industry and the science/technology of brewing. Upon completion of my studies/obtaining my Brewmaster certificate from VLB in Berlin (June 2008), my attention will be focused on:
1. Managing my current employer's startup microbrewery project in Roanoke, VA.
2. Promoting my brand, Blacksburg Brewing Company, which will be brewed under license (by me) at the new brewery in Roanoke.
Through this focus I hope to:
1. Grow the brewery, the Roanoke brand, and my BBC brand beyond profitability in less than 18 months.
2. Establish a reputation for the region as a source of/destination for quality beer.
3. Guide the brewery and its brands through future expansion.
