John Blue, as Chief of Community Creation for Truffle Media Networks, has responsibility for developing the ability to engage audiences through marketing, technology, and in person interactions. John has a background in software development, innovation and idea generation and management (ideation), marketing in new media environments, and small business development issues.
John has a BS (1985) and an MS (1992) in Computer Science from Indiana University, and has worked in various positions small and large corporations.
John has been involved in developing and creating podcasts since Dec 2004, when the name "podcasting" came to life. He is a member of the Association of Downloadable Media, the IU School of Informatics Alumni Association Board of Directors, the Lilly Alumni Association, the IUPUI Computer Information Technology department advisory group, and the Indiana Biomedical Entrepreneur Network.
John blogs regularly at InnovationCreation.US about innovation, ideation, and the issues of taking ideas to products.

eLilly was about discovering new ways to do sales/marketing and R&D, not just incremental ways but disruptive and, sometimes, radical. Ideas that came out of eLilly spured on companies that include: Maaguzi, Indigo Biosystems, Coalesix, InnoCentive, Scientuer, YourEncore, and Truffle Media Networks.
