I consider myself an international e-business professional with intensive graphic design, online marketing, e-commerce management, content management, project management and web development experience.
Recently I've been the Strategic - Operational Director at EasyToBook.com, located in Zürich, Switzerland. Leading strategic e-commerce and online marketing initiatives critical to the on-going growth within the online travel industry. Initiatives include creating new strategic partnerships, globalization of website, expanding hotel inventory by 1000%, evaluation of new products, redefining online marketing channel strategy, creating unique content localization workflows and reorganization of internal business processes to increase efficiency and scalability to support the 1000% growth in business.
Previously I was the Global Web Manager at TomTom International BV, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Where I managed the Web Marketing Team within the Global Marketing Department, with responsibility of managing, executing and evaluating all TomTom's web communications. Areas of focus were globalization, usability, scalability, creating online marketing channels and defining the e-commerce strategy of TomTom's websites.
Prior to TomTom, I was the Consumer Electronics Web Manager within the European Marketing Department at Philips Electronics positioned at the international headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I managed a ten-member Central Web Management Team which created online marketing channels, business processes, rollout CRM applications and trained the EMEA Marketing and Product Managers on internet marketing techniques.
